Officially recognize the Nouncil Pod Pod as Nouncil’s first Nouncil Pod.

Description

The Nouncil Pod Pod manages the documentation and processes surrounding Nouncil Pods, including the procedures required to receive official recognition and funding.

A Nouncil Pod is self-managing working group aligned with Nouncil. To receive Nouncil funding Pods must receive official recognition via a governance vote.

Goal

Our goal is to decentralize Nouncil and spread responsibility throughout several separate, autonomous pods.

Road Map

1. Create Nouncil Pod Pod

• Create a framework for pod creation that allows others to permissionlessly grow Nouncil
• Create a system to hold pods accountable to Nouncil and ensure long term alignment and success

2. Create More Pods

• Identify top priority pods (ie Nouncil Meetings, Nouns DAO votes, Nouncil Web Developers)
• Develop all documentation necessary for Pod creation
• Put together founding team of members
• Submit Pod to Nouncil for official recognition and funding

Governance

• members will discuss and develop the documentation and processes as a group

• formal decisions require a majority vote from members (currently 3/5)

Membership

• any member can be added or removed with a formal majority vote

End Conditions / Procedure

A trustless pod protocol is built that no longer requires the Nouncil Pod Pod’s input. The Notion and all documentation should be published publicly and permanently.
